Susannah Benjamin was born in New York City in 1993. She has been shooting since the age of 11 and has had her work published since the age of 13. Susannah attended an all girl's school for fourteen years, where she began using her classmates as models, captivated by several of their faces until a small group of them became known as her “muses” at school. The summer she turned 17, she signed with the NYC agency Rona Represents. Susannah has appeared in publications including FLAUNT, Vs., Glamour, NYLON, Shutterbug, The Irish Times, and more. She has appeared on book covers and in instructional photography guides, in addition to shooting the back cover of Beyoncé’s DVD, “Live at Roseland: Elements of 4.” A recent graduate of Yale University, Susannah focused her studies on English and French literature, as she believes that a mastery of narrative, myth, and fantasy is key to the creation of her images. She is currently based in Greenwich, CT.
